| DESCRIZIONE:
the head is refined in the lines and, sight gives under or gives
over ,it has the shape of a lengthened cone, cut, that it goes progressively
shrinking itself from the ears to the tartufo. the jaws are of equal
length, clean and strong. The eyes are of medium dimensions, to
almond, decided oblique.The ears are small and moderately wide to
the base. The neck is stronh, very arch the body is advanced length
to the height to the garrese .The ideal Ransom is 37 cm in the male,
35 cm in the female . Caracteristic colours of collie are sable,
sable & white, tricolour and blu-merle.
CARATTERE:
A sweet disposition, this loveable breed does have a very strong
herding instinct often nipping at ankles and chasing cars. This
is a home breed and should not be kept in a kennel like environment.
The Shetland Sheepdog is very affectionate and lovely, yet can be
protective of his owner and/or territory. This dog loves being an
in-home companion and would gladly lie down on the couch next to
his family.
UTILIZZAZIONE:
Collie is above all used as sheep-dog but it's able to make guard,
rescue and guide for blind people. Thank to its wonderful and noble
look it is above all a company friend.
ALIMENTAZIONE:
Every day it should eat 300 gr of meal, 150 gr of rice and vegetables;
it doesn't assimilate many calories, then it doesn't make fat easily.
